This will be my last post for this week, because tomorrow I'm leaving at 6 A.M. to the airport in Amsterdam. Some of you probably already know where I'm going to, but for those of you who don't: I'm going to Ireland. Forecast for this week in Ireland: 90% chance of rain. So no sunbathing for me. But except for the weather over there I'm really looking foreward to go there. I think it will be a beautiful country and I will take lots of pictures for you. I hope I will get through customs without trouble(like that they take away my stuff or that the metal detector goes off).

I'm almost better. Probably by Monday the coughing and sneezing will be gone. Now I have to get all the stuff I still need for Ireland. Last Wednesday my sister came over from Utrecht. She took her summer clothes back with her for the new season. She found a top in her closet which she never wears anymore and wanted to trade it for my sweater. Of cours I said yes.

Black & Bright

Today I just stayed home. I was really tired and I think I'm getting ill. Just coughing and sneezing in bed all day. I hope I'll be better by Monday before I get on the plane to Ireland. A few days ago I went shopping in Utrecht. I went to the H&M and immediately fell in love with a skirt and a top. And surprisingly it matched together so well. Lately I'm trying to buy less clothes from the H&M, because when you buy something, a lot of people are wearing that same piece. But always when I walk into the H&M, there is something that I must have(this time a top and skirt and almost shoes).

Museum Girl

Saturday I went with my family to the Beeld&Geluid Museum in Hilversum. My sister had to go there for her study. It was really funny, because you could make photo's, movies and music by yourself. All the things you made are send to your e-mail so you can use them later. It's to bad that the quality is so poor.

Navy blue shorts

It's been such a long time ago since my last post. I'm really sorry for that, but I had an exchange. I already told you about in, I believe, 2 posts ago. This week I can keep posting, but next week I'm going to Ireland. Then you have to deal without me again.
Todays post is an outfit post. I bought the shorts in Rotterdam last Tuesday at the Bershka. With the shorts I bought a tanktop as well.

Biker boots and wayfarers

This is my second post in about 10 minutes! It is a new record. But I'm doing this because the rest of the time my schedule is packed. Last night I put together some clothes which turned out into a nice outfit(I think). It is a short together with a pink top and a pair of biker boots. Because it is winter I just added some tights. Probably it looks a bit weird, so I will leave those out in the future.

Exchange

Hi

Today has been a busy day for me. At 8.30 I had math and until 11.50 I had french. After that, my exchange partner from Ireland arrived at school. Until 15.15 we had very tight schedule with quizzes and scavenger hunts. We had a lot of fun and were getting to know each other a bit better. On the way home we had a lot of fun because she had to sit on the back of my bike, while she never cycles herself. It was really a new experience for her. When arrived at my place we were just hanging out and talking a bit. We had to fill in some questions about Holland and tonight we are going to watch a movie with 4 others. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the week. Tomorrow we'll be going to Rotterdam, The Hague and Scheveningen. Tomorrow I'll post something about that!

too cute jacket

I wanted to put my bathrobe in a closte on the hallway, because I never use it. That is where in the summer all our winter jackets are. When I opened the closet I saw something from when I was 7 or 8 year old. It is so cute and the size looked quite big. So I tried it on and miraculously I was able to get it on! But after a minute of wearing it, I realized that the sleaves were to tight.

My dear neighbor made it for me.



On the photo it looks really tacky and old-fashioned, but when you wear it, it looks very cute.

DIY: summer shorts

Hello

Today I had an idea to make my own pair of shorts. I saw shorts in the shops, but then I thought "I can make that myself very easily". I went through my closet for an old pair of jeans that were to short and used an other pair of short as example.


Pick a pair of jeans that are too short or that you never wear anymore.



Cut off the legs, but not to short right away. Once you've cut it of you can't put it back on.



Turn up the bottom of the legs.



If you like you can add some decoration.



The result.



 I really love how it ended up, but unfortunately the shorts don't fit. I probably should have tried them on before making it into a pair of shorts. Maybe I can give them to someone else wo can fit into them. Is it something for you or would you rather buy it at a shop?

Making money baby

Maybe a little bit a late post, but I had to study Economy for a test I have tomorrow and I was learning how to make money and what to do with it. It is so boring, but I'm still going to choose it for my profile next year(why oo why). While studying hard(sure), I'm of course listening to music together with a cup of mint tea. In my music list: Adele - Set fire to the rain, Rihanna ft. Kanye West - All of the lights, Kanye West & Jay-z ft. Nicki Minaj - Monster and many others.

Bags, bags, bags

Today was such a long day! Well, actually it went by quite quickly, but if you look at the hours, it was long. I spent most of my day at school from 8.30 until 16.20. Luckily my last period was visual arts, so my day wasn't too boring. When I came home I had to studie Biologie, because I have a test tomorrow. Actually I didn't study that much yet which I should have done.

When I was cleaning my closet I found a lot of bags, so I decided to do a post about my favourite bags.

tired of all the celebrating

Today was a busy day! Even though I got up at 11 o'clock, I didn't get any time for myself. In the morning I had to help my mum with decorating the cupcakes. It is so much more fun to have cupcakes instead of pie or a normal cake. That is so standard and you can choose from a lot of colours and decorations. That was a lot of fun to make them and all the decoration tasted delicious. Then I had to take a shower and get dressed and then my family and friends came over. I got even more gifts(I'm only spoiled a little bit) and we had all of this delicious food(from which I ate too much!). Here follow some pictures of today:

I've been looking for shoes the whole winter, but couldn't find anything! It's really frutstrating if you can't find that one pair of shoes that you want. Now I've made a selsction of three types of shoes I want. The funny thing I just noticed was that they were all black although I never wear a lot of black.

party people

Good evening

I just came back from my friends house. We celebrated our party together and it was so much fun! We had a blast and were laughing the whole time. We had like a small dinner with a few other friends. At first we would be with 9 people, but it turned out that 3 of them couldn't come. This turned out well, because the table wasn't too crowded and you didn't have 9 girls talking at the same time. I've got a lot of really nice gifts. My camera kind of crashed so I couldn't take any pictures:(. Besides eating (a lot) we also did some exercising. We had some much fun that it almost turned out in a active dancing class and once we saw the keyboard we kept singing songs.
Now I'm going to bed, because I'm absolutely exhausted. Sleep well and I see you tomorrow.

Today is my 15th birthday.cI'm going to celebrate it this Saturday so I haven't got loads of presents yet(although I am expecting that). I did get some small gifts from my friends at school today. From my parents I got a day trip to Antwerpen with a little money to shop. I'm really excited to go but don't know when yet.
